Challenge

Payment, at the heart of economic life, evolves according to 3 inflections: sociological, technological and regulatory. Identifying these trends on a European and global scale to produce a summary of opportunities and threats requires almost weekly monitoring.
We carry out this monitoring and make it available to payment managers to broaden their vision beyond the operations they are responsible for on a daily basis.

The perfect match

Some twenty expert consultants at your service
Sourcing & analysis of current key documents

And concretely?

80
sources analysed each quarter
450
sheets written in 6 years
1
summary sheet in French per "normative" document

Our methodology

A team effort divided between several actors: 1. our experts who identify the sources, 2. a manager who defines the editorial line for the selected documents, 3. the consultants who write the reports and 4. the manager who validates the reports and writes the quarterly summary.

Identify

Our experts (regulation, security, innovation, identity, etc.) regularly check more than 80 specialised sources in France, Europe and the world to identify publications to be analysed.

Prioritize

We select the documents that shed new light, either retrospectively (analysis of constants, emerging trends, etc.) or prospectively (standard, regulation), and we define the editorial line of the key points to be put forward for the drafting of the document summary sheet.

Synthesise

We write a 3 to 4 page summary that groups all the unit sheets by theme (between 15 and 25 depending on the quarter) to allow quick access to key information.

Return

Each quarter, we share our summary view of the key payment trends of the moment during a one-hour meeting accessible to non-specialists.

Crossed views

We take advantage of this payment sector watch to regularly bring together the TotalEnergies Payment Community during a webinar. The choice of topical themes and Oaklen's ability to make these subjects accessible to as many people as possible means that we can count on nearly 50 people at each session.
